PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Restrictive Site Access
- Specialist Trades and Project Elements
- Specific Acoustic Requirements
- High-Security Works
This project at the Police Academy in Glen Waverley comprised the construction of a two-storey indoor Firing Range and Training Facility for Victoria Police. The key features of the project included the special acoustic treatments within the building, bullet trap and target system, soft fall area, padded walls and floors, and a virtual firing range.
All construction activities were undertaken in a secure compound posing access issues to the site that were overcome with a high level of stakeholder management. Our team worked collaboratively alongside Victoria Police to build a facility to exact performance specifications all whilst ensuring there was no disruption to their daily operations.
