McCORKELL PATHWAYS PROGRAM
At McCorkell, we take pride in developing talent from the ground up. Our Pathways Program offers a structured, hands-on introduction to commercial construction for students and graduates looking to kick-start their careers.
From day one, you’ll gain real-world experience across both site and office environments. You’ll be embedded within project teams, learning directly from experienced professionals who are not only passionate about what they do, but generous in sharing their knowledge.
Our program begins with a one-year cadet phase, where you’ll rotate through four core modules to gain a well-rounded knowledge of the business and discover your strengths. Based on your interests, you’ll then select a specialised career pathway to focus on over the next two years, supported by a clear development framework and mentorship from senior team members.
You’ll work on unique, technically challenging projects across a range of sectors – translating your studies into meaningful, on-the-job learning. Our flexible scheduling supports your university commitments, while quarterly site tours, regular check-ins, and tailored feedback help guide your progress.
By the end of our Pathways Program you’ll be stepping into an intermediate-level role with real responsibility. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge, experience, and support you need to grow into a future leader of our business.
